‌The ‌global Makassi African Agribusiness Strategy for 2022 - 2027 involves identifying the best-suited Agro Ecological Zones (AEZ) for Makassi’s desired selection of sub-tropical fruits in each territory. Since the Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (WEP) participants will be managing the agriculture as well as the business aspects of the agribusiness program, it’s essential to ensure the zones are in close proximity to well-functioning Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (WEP) participants in each territory.

We are working to identify and secure the best available irrigable land (perennial water source) inside the chosen AEZ for irrigated production of our desired sub-tropical fruit orchards and canning facilities.

‌Ultimately, we plan to establish a Makassi Agribusiness Academy at each irrigated production & processing site within each territory for hands-on training of selected candidates from each of the WEP Women / Groups in various facets of Agribusiness.

We’ll create critical developmental career paths for all successful Makassi Agribusiness Academy graduates to slot into Makassi Agribusiness Production & Processing sites anywhere in Africa.
